Sewing with Shapes at Muirlands Middle School

Discover how math, creativity, and engineering come together through fashion design in this hands-on STEAM class. Students will gain confidence using a sewing machine, learn foundational sewing techniques, create a variety of projects—including a wearable garment—and explore how simple 2D shapes transform into 3D forms. All project materials are included. (Optional Sewing & Design Kit available for purchase.)

AI Creative Lab is an engaging, project-based program that introduces students to artificial intelligence through hands-on experimentation and creative projects. Students will explore how different types of AI work, including machine learning, generative text, image and video generation, vibe coding, audio creation, and chatbot design.
